PARENT INVOLVEMENT AT ST. PAUL St. Paul Lutheran School has an active and productive Parent Teacher League. The L.P.T.L. (Lutheran Parent Teacher League), sponsors many programs and events throughout the school year. The league’s various fund-raisers have enabled it to accomplish goals and contribute to the school in many visible ways. The mission of the L.P.T.L. is to enrich the academic and social life within the school community by enthusiastically promoting fundraising events and fellowship activities. The L.P.T.L. Executive Board represents each level of education at St. Paul from the pre-school through middle school. There are many annual events and programs. The “Buddy Family Program,” is designed to make the transition for new families easy. “Santa’s Secret Shop” and the “Holiday Fashion Show and Luncheon” are Christmas traditions. “Teacher Appreciation Day”, “Grandparents Day”, and “Take A Parent to Lunch Day’, are all celebrated during National Lutheran Schools Week. Other social and fundraising events include the “Golf Tournament”, and the “Dinner Auction”. The L.P.T.L. holds two general meetings during the school year and keeps parents informed via a published newsletter. New volunteers are always welcomed, and encouraged to become involved, thus making the L.P.T.L a wonderful way for new families to become assimilated into the St. Paul family.
